Financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed. The privately held based in Roseville, California provides dermatology and cosmetic surgery practices with three specialty specific offerings:

50% of Eligible Professionals Will Face Meaningful Use Penalties in 2015
Starting January 5th, 2015 about 257,000 Medicare eligible professionals (EPs) will face meaningful use penalties, according to CMS officials. EPs must successfully attest for Meaningful Use on or before Oct. 1, 2014 in order to avoid a penalty.

64% of Americans Do Not Use Online Patient Portals
64 percent of Americans do not currently use online patient portals, according to the results of Xerox's 5th annual EHR Survey. The survey revealed that 57 percent of Americans would be much more interested and proactive in their personal healthcare if they had online access to their medical records. Of those Americans that don’t use patient portals, 35 percent did not know a portal was available and 31 percent said their physician had never spoken to them about portals.
