What You Should Know:

– Innovaccer, a healthcare AI company, announced the acquisition of Humbi AI, a specialized healthcare actuarial software, services, and analytics company. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

– The transaction marks Innovaccer’s third acquisition in recent years, following Cured and Pharmacy Quality Solutions (PQS) in 2024, further solidifying the company’s commitment to driving advanced healthcare transformation.

Enhance Healthcare Intelligence Cloud with Actuarial Expertise

Humbi AI is an actuarial intelligence company enabling providers, payers, and life sciences organizations to manage risk, improve performance, and succeed in value-based care. With deep actuarial expertise, robust benchmarking data, and flexible financial modeling software, Humbi AI provides powerful analytics and consultative services that transform complex challenges into actionable insights.

The acquisition brings Humbi AI’s deep actuarial expertise and robust Medicare and Medicaid data, covering over 200 million lives, to Innovaccer’s Healthcare Intelligence Cloud. This integration will empower healthcare organizations to:

  • Improve risk management: Develop more accurate risk assessments and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Enhance financial performance: Optimize financial planning and analysis, improve contract performance, and drive revenue growth.
  • Improve patient outcomes: Leverage data-driven insights to enhance care delivery and achieve better health outcomes.

Introducing Actuarial Copilots

The integration of Humbi AI’s technology will also pave the way for Innovaccer’s Actuarial Copilots, AI-powered tools designed to help actuaries complete their work faster and more efficiently. These copilot solutions will automate tedious tasks, provide real-time insights, and support more informed decision-making.

“This acquisition is a pivotal moment in Innovaccer’s ongoing mission to transform healthcare by accelerating its shift to value-based care,” said Abhinav Shashank, co-founder and CEO of Innovaccer. “Humbi AI’s actuarial expertise complements our existing platform, giving us the unique ability to help healthcare organizations design smarter value-based contracts, optimize drug commercialization, and manage performance in unprecedented ways.”
