Netsmart Acquires HealthPivots to Enhance Post-Acute Care Solutions

What You Should Know:

– Netsmart, a provider of healthcare technology solutions announced the acquisition of HealthPivots, a market intelligence company specializing in post-acute care.

– The combination of etsmart’s CareFabric® platform with HealthPivots’ DataLab will create a powerful solution to help post-acute care providers transition to value-based care.

Addressing the Growing Need for Value-Based Care

As healthcare organizations move towards value-based care models, there is a pressing need for advanced data analytics and insights. The HealthPivots DataLab provides access to extensive Medicare claims data, which can be integrated into the CareFabric platform to enhance analytics capabilities. This will empower post-acute care providers to make data-driven decisions and meet the requirements of value-based care.

Key benefits of the acquisition include:

  • Consolidated Data: The combination of CareFabric and HealthPivots DataLab will provide a comprehensive and robust data platform.
  • Enhanced Analytics: Advanced analytics capabilities will offer valuable insights to support decision-making.
  • Vendor Neutrality: HealthPivots clients can use the solutions with their preferred EHR vendor, ensuring flexibility and choice.

Supporting the Transition to Value-Based Care

The acquisition of HealthPivots aligns with Netsmart’s strategy of enabling healthcare providers to digitize their enterprises and improve performance. By providing advanced data analytics and insights, etsmart is helping post-acute care providers navigate the complex landscape of value-based care.

“We are thrilled to join the Netsmart team to combine our expertise and resources to help providers optimize their current Fee-For-Service operations while preparing for a transition to value-based care,” said Bob Tavares, Chief Commercial Officer, HealthPivots. “By integrating the HealthPivots DataLab comprehensive analytics with the robust Netsmart platform, we can better equip organizations with the tools necessary to navigate this shift successfully.”
