HouseWorks Acquires AccordCare’s Connecticut Personal Care Division

HouseWorks Holdings, LLC, a leading personal care services provider in the Northeast, today announced the acquisition of the Connecticut Personal Care Division of AccordCare.

– HouseWorks Holdings, LLC, a leading personal care services provider in the Northeast, today announced the acquisition of the Connecticut Personal Care Division of AccordCare. 

– The acquisition marks HouseWorks’ entry into the Connecticut market, significantly expanding their geographic reach and service offerings.

Expanding Services and Entering New Territory

The Connecticut Personal Care Division, encompassing Companions and Homemakers, LLC and Companions Forever, LLC, will become part of the HouseWorks family. These brands will retain their local presence while providing access to HouseWorks’ BetterCare at Home™ model for Medicaid and dual-eligible clients in Connecticut. HouseWorks’ BetterCare at Home program focuses on personalized care plans and client well-being.

Strategic Growth and Continued Commitment

This acquisition signifies HouseWorks’ fifth completed transaction since partnering with InTandem Capital in December 2022. It underscores their ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality personal care services to diverse communities throughout the Northeast.

Combined Strength in Connecticut

The acquired Connecticut Personal Care Division is the largest provider of Medicaid home care services in the state. By joining forces, HouseWorks and the Connecticut Personal Care Division will create a stronger, more comprehensive personal care service network for residents.

“The Connecticut division was brought together to deliver exceptional care in a state so desperate for high-quality providers,” said Brandon Ballew, CEO of AccordCare, “and we believe they will be able to continue that mission with the HouseWorks team.”

TripleTree, LLC served as the financial advisor to AccordCare for this transaction. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
