Prenatal App Babyscripts Announces Partnership with Axia Women’s Health

Axia Women’s Health, the nation’s largest independent, physician-led women’s health network, today announced a partnership with Babyscripts, a virtual care platform for managing obstetrics. With nearly 300 providers and more than 115 health centers across New Jersey and Pennsylvania., Axia will provide their pregnant patients access to the Babyscripts app during the entirety of their prenatal journey and beyond.

Babyscripts Program Offered Through Axia Women’s Health

The Babyscripts program offered through Axia Women’s Health involves the delivery of the Babyscripts app (in English and Spanish) to every pregnant patient. The app enables access to gestational age-appropriate content, email campaigns, satisfaction surveys, appointment reminders, and weight monitoring. The Babyscripts app also delivers evidence-based guidelines approved by the patient’s obstetrician in the form of daily nutritional, medical and lifestyle action items.

Mothers will be able to use the Babyscripts’ app to stay connected to their care team and be informed about their pregnancy, providing additional flexibility and transparency between moms and clinical teams.

Babyscripts  Background

Babyscripts is a virtual care platform for obstetrics that allows OB/GYNs to deliver a new model of prenatal and postpartum care. The platform is powered by a suite of mobile apps that drive better patient decision making, internet-connected devices for remote monitoring, and a host of population health tools to give providers access to patient data in real-time. When using these tools, patients experience increased engagement and satisfaction, while OB/GYNs are able to identify patient risk more quickly, improve clinic workflow, and make more money.

Why It Matters

“We are pleased to offer our patients valuable information and prenatal support at their fingertips through the new Babyscripts app,” states Stephen Krell, MD, executive chairman and CEO of Axia’s clinical practices. “We look forward to empowering women through knowledge and leveraging the app to ultimately provider a better care experience during a very important time in our patients’ lives.”
