As a result of the partnership, Virtusa customers will now be able to more easily and effectively extend the vLife™ life sciences platform capabilities to access patient data from EMR systems, and other clinical capabilities, thanks to the InterSystems IRIS for Health Data Platform.

Virtusa’s vLife, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud-based technology, is a platform consisting of a comprehensive HIPAA-compliant data lake with multiple data sources, pre-built APIs, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) models. Additional visualization and predictive tools are also available for client subscription. With the native interoperability and integration foundation of the InterSystems IRIS for Health™ Data Platform, Virtusa customers can now more easily and effectively extend vLife’s capabilities to access patient data from electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other clinical applications.
