New Hampshire Health Information Organization (NHHIO), New Hampshire’s network for the digital exchange of patient health information, has selected TigerText as a secure messaging provider. NHHIO will leverage TigerText’s messaging platform to securely connect the New Hampshire healthcare community and streamline patient care and data sharing.
NHHIO is a non-profit organization in New Hampshire facilitating the secure sharing and transmitting of protected health information (PHI) between health care providers in order to improve quality, efficiency and patient safety while reducing healthcare costs. NHHIO and its network of more than 100 hospitals, health centers, nurses’ associations, and long-term care facilities can increase efficiency by sending data using a single, secure electronic network instead of building multiple connections, or using traditional antiquated paper methods.
“As New Hampshire’s resource for health information exchange, we are excited to offer an additional resource to securely connect our providers to improve their ability to share patient health information needed for informed care decisions,” said Mary Beth Eldredge, board chair of NHHIO. “The use of secure texting can greatly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of care coordination and provider communication.”
NHHIO network participants will receive special pricing when they sign up for TigerText to facilitate rapid adoption across the network. TigerText will enable NHHIO physicians, nurses, and care providers to quickly connect with one another, in a secure and compliant manner that ultimately improves patient care, workflow and ROI. The TigerText app and platform provides an efficient and secure tool for sending and receiving PHI, as well as other important information necessary for making critical care decisions.
