After being the first Epic client to integrate with the Apple HealthKit, Ochsner Health System has announced it is now the first hospital in the nation to use the Apple Watch for managing patients suffering from chronic diseases. A recent KLAS report finds vendors athenahealth, Epic and Medfusion are the most effective at helping their customers drive patient portal adoption.
