What You Should Know:

– OncoRx Insights has completed a native integration with Epic Systems, enabling Single Sign-On (SSO) access to precision oncology treatment data. Led by CEO Kristin Ashcraft, the platform allows clinicians to access medication-related insights and decision-support tools without leaving the Epic patient record.

– The integration aims to reduce administrative burden and “app fatigue” for oncology teams, supporting more informed, real-world treatment discussions at the point of care.

The “Contextual” Mandate: Solving Information Overload

As oncology research expands at an exponential rate, the primary barrier to precision medicine isn’t a lack of data—it’s data fragmentation. Clinicians are currently overwhelmed by a “tsunami” of new treatment options while facing record-high administrative burnout.

  • Seamless Workflow: By meeting providers “where they already work,” OncoRx reduces the friction of accessing medication data throughout the care continuum.
  • Real-Time Synthesis: The integration ensures that treatment-related insights are delivered in the specific context of the patient’s clinical history, labs, and genomics already stored in Epic.
  • Scalable Infrastructure: This move is part of OncoRx’s broader mission to support both community-based and large health system oncology providers with a “clinical-first” intelligence layer.

“Oncology decision-making is becoming increasingly complex, and clinicians should not have to navigate multiple systems to access the information they need,” said Kristin Ashcraft, Co-Founder and CEO of OncoRx Insights. “This integration with Epic allows OncoRx to meet providers where they already work, helping support more informed treatment conversations without disrupting clinical workflows.”
