UnitedHealthcare Launches UHC Store for a Personalized Health Shopping Experience

What You Should Know:

– UnitedHealthcare has announced the launch of UHC Store, a new online shopping experience available within the UnitedHealthcare app and on myuhc.com®.

– The store is initially available to more than 6 million eligible members, with plans to expand to 18 million members this year. The UHC Store allows members to choose from a range of discounted health and wellness offerings to help meet their individual needs and complement their health benefits.

A Simple, Intuitive, and Discounted Shopping Experience

The UHC Store is part of UnitedHealthcare’s commitment to transform how people interact with health care by providing a simple and supportive experience. The platform mirrors the intuitive design of online shopping in other industries. Through the UHC Store, members can receive discounts of up to 15% on various health, wellness, and lifestyle offerings, which include popular weight loss programs, orthopedic management apps, women’s health resources, and more.

At launch, UHC Store offers health and wellness offerings, including:

  • Everyday health offerings for women’s health and mental health
  • Family wellness resources and support for family planning, caregiving, pregnancy and postpartum needs
  • Fitness and nutrition offerings for weight management, coaching, nutrition and fitness
  • Health coordination resources for complex or chronic conditions, such as autoimmune diseases, diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, musculoskeletal (MSK) disorders and more

“Across UnitedHealthcare, we are listening to our members and clients to understand and address their expectations for health care,” said Dan Kueter, CEO of UnitedHealthcare’s commercial business. “We are developing solutions like UHC Store to drive positive change in the health system and improve people’s experience with the ability to supplement their health benefits year-round.”
