Epic Integration Impact
The Epic integration builds on a successful partnership announced in May 2025. It allows Onvida clinicians to initiate visit recordings in Haiku and generate comprehensive, coding-aware documentation across more than 200 specialties and subspecialties. The goal of this streamlined approach is to reduce the documentation burden while maintaining high-quality, compliant notes that are required across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings.
Frontier AI Across All Settings of Care
Ambience was built with a deep understanding of clinical workflows, and its capabilities are now available to Onvida clinicians directly inside Epic. The solution provides access to frontier AI features that support clinicians before, during, and after patient encounters in multiple languages, including English and Spanish.
Key features include:
- Patient Recap: A pre-visit chart summarization tool that analyzes a patient’s medical record and generates a summary to help clinicians prepare for the visit.
- Ambient Scribing: An in-visit AI scribe that generates comprehensive, coding-aware documentation across 200 specialties and subspecialties.
- Patient Instructions: A post-visit summary for patients, families, and caregivers, written to the patient’s level of medical knowledge.
- Coding Assistant: A post-visit tool that surfaces precise ICD-10 codes to clinicians based on the patient encounter.
- HCC Compliance Validator: A post-visit compliance assistant that reviews documentation in real time to flag HCC-linked problems that lack MEAT support, helping clinicians correct issues before they impact compliance.
