What You Should Know:

– CitiusTech, a provider of healthcare technology and solutions, has announced the acquisition of Health Data Movers, a healthcare technology services firm known for its expertise in platforms like Epic Systems, Workday, and ServiceNow. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

– Founded in 2012, Health Data Movers is a U.S.-based firm with a mission to empower patients and providers by leveraging healthcare data and technology. The company brings a highly skilled team with deep expertise in large-scale EMR program delivery, clinical workflows, and operational transformation.

– The acquisition is designed to help healthcare providers unify complex technology ecosystems and accelerate innovation.

Rise of Agentic AI in Healthcare

Healthcare providers are facing increasing pressure to improve care quality and create more connected experiences for both patients and clinicians. The rise of Agentic AI, Cloud, and AI Scribes has heightened the need for seamless integration into the core systems that clinicians and staff use daily. Epic, which serves as the digital backbone for many healthcare providers, is central to this transformation, enabling interoperability and embedding advanced analytics and AI directly into clinical workflows.

A Combined Approach to Seamless Integration

By combining CitiusTech’s solutions in AI, data, and automation with Health Data Movers’ deep integration expertise, the new entity will be able to embed intelligence and automation directly into core operational platforms such as EMR, ITSM, and ERP. This approach minimizes change management risks and provides scalable, end-to-end solutions that enable providers to achieve greater efficiency and impact in patient care.

According to Rajan Kohli, CEO of CitiusTech, this is a “pivotal moment” for both companies. “By combining forces, we are redefining the path to seamless integration, and infusing AI and intelligent automation into clinical operations,” he said. The partnership strengthens CitiusTech’s position as a strategic partner across the healthcare ecosystem by operating at the core of the Epic ecosystem to solve some of healthcare’s most critical challenges.
