Thoughtful AI Secures $20M, Launches Human-Capable RCM AI Agents

– Thoughtful.ai, a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI)-powered revenue cycle automation has received a strategic investment from New Mountain Capital, a growth-oriented investment firm with over $55B in assets under management.  

The investment aims to support Thoughtful.ai’s continued growth and accelerate the adoption of automation and AI solutions to address the complex challenges faced by healthcare providers. 

Thoughtful.ai’s Solutions

Founded in 2020 by Alex Zekoff and Dan Parsons, Thoughtful.ai has developed AI agents and tools focused on revenue cycle management.  The company describes its approach as “agentic AI,” combining AI with traditional automation to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and provide workforce support to back-office healthcare employees. Thoughtful.ai’s AI agents are designed to handle complex processes with precision, speed, and scalability.
