What You Should Know: 

– Kyndryl, the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, today announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft to support the adoption and deployment of Dragon Copilot, a new AI-powered healthcare assistant. 

– The collaboration will leverage generative AI to automate clinical documentation, improve administrative efficiency, and enhance patient care.

Dragon Copilot to Automate Clinical Documentation and Enhance Patient Care

Kyndryl will serve as a key implementation partner for Dragon Copilot, providing healthcare organizations with comprehensive support and services to seamlessly integrate the AI assistant into their existing workflows.  

Key benefits of the Dragon Copilot include: 

  • Improved Clinician Efficiency: Automates documentation and administrative tasks, allowing clinicians to focus more time on patient care.  
  • Optimized Workflows: Surfaces relevant information, documents care with ambient note creation, and provides encounter recording suggestions within the clinician’s workflow.  
  • Enhanced Patient Experiences: Enables clinicians to be more present and engaged with patients by automating tasks such as summarizing notes, prepping orders, and drafting after-visit summaries.  
  • Better Care: Supports clinicians in their daily tasks, leading to improved patient experiences and overall care quality.  
  • Security and Privacy: Prioritizes the security, safety, and privacy of patient data as part of Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare.

Availability

Kyndryl plans to offer Dragon Copilot as a key solution in its healthcare services portfolio starting in May 2025.
