Sturdy Health Partners with Notable for AI-powered Digital Front Door

What You Should Know:

– Sturdy Health, a leading healthcare system in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, has announced a new partnership with Notable, the AI platform for healthcare operations.

– The strategic collaboration aims to empower patients with a more convenient and efficient healthcare experience through the power of artificial intelligence (AI).

Simplifying Patient Workflow with Notable

Sturdy Health will leverage Notable’s platform to automate several key aspects of the patient journey, including:

  • Appointment Scheduling: Patients can now schedule appointments independently through self-serve channels, eliminating the need for phone calls and enabling scheduling at their convenience.
  • Pre-Registration: Notable automates pre-registration tasks, allowing patients to securely update demographic and insurance information online before their visit.
  • Seamless Check-In: Automatic outreach with patients before appointments ensures they have all necessary information for a smooth check-in process.
  • Personalized Communication: Bi-directional integration with Oracle Health allows for personalized communication using conversational AI. This two-way interaction provides a more engaging patient experience.
  • Proactive Care: Notable helps identify patients due for preventative care and assists them in scheduling appointments, promoting a proactive approach to health management.

A Multi-Site Implementation

Sturdy Health has already begun integrating Notable’s Registration Intake and Payments solutions at two locations, with plans to expand across their entire network. This multi-site approach ensures consistent benefits for patients throughout the healthcare system.

Benefits for Patients and Providers

By streamlining administrative tasks and offering self-service options, Sturdy Health and Notable aim to:

  • Reduce wait times: Faster check-in and pre-registration processes minimize wait times for patients.
  • Improve patient satisfaction: A more convenient and efficient experience fosters greater patient satisfaction.
  • Boost staff efficiency: Automating repetitive tasks frees up staff time for more direct patient care.
  • Promote preventative care: Proactive outreach encourages patients to address their health needs in a timely manner.

“We are on a journey to transform the way our community experiences healthcare,” said Paul Fu, M.D., Chief Medical Officer for Sturdy Health Medical Group. “In addition to the construction of our state-of-the-art Cancer and Specialty Care Medical Office Building, Sturdy Health is investing in innovative technologies, like Notable, to advance a seamless patient experience that meets the health care needs and experience expectations of those we are privileged to serve.”
