Specialized staffing firm ALKU has acquired Holland Square Group, a Nashville, TN-based provider of health IT consulting and staffing solutions to providers, payers, and suppliers of healthcare technology and services. The acquisiton will help expand and diversify ALKU’s specialized service offerings to the health IT market, as well as establish a market share in the health IT consulting market.
“We immediately recognized the unique opportunity that combining with Holland Square Group represents for the ALKU portfolio. It is clear that this partnership will succeed because the two entities are focused on specific practice areas and do not deviate from this specialized approach. Holland Square Group was a great fit because of their strong reputation in the Healthcare IT market. I am confident that together, we can capitalize on the latest emerging trends in the healthcare technology market,” said Mark Eldridge, CEO of ALKU in a statement.
Founded in 2009 by co-founders Mike Murphy and Andrew Park, Holland Square provides group healthcare IT consulting, strategic staffing, outsourcing and professional search solutions, serving corporate and government clients throughout the United States. Specializes in Cerner health IT consulting, Holland currently has over 250 employees in Nashville, Denver and Charlotte. As part of the acquisition, Holland Square Group will keep its name and will join ALKU’s healthcare division.
Holland Square Group currently serves as subcontractor under Leidois for the $4.3B Defense Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) contract. The DHMSM contract will provide an electronic health record (EHR) off-the-shelf solution, integration activities and deployment across the Military Health System.
