TigerConnect, Nuance Dragon Partner to Provide Clinical Speech Recognition for Care Providers

Secure messaging platform for healthcare developers TigerConnect, announced that developers can now enhance their secure messaging apps with the industry’s market leading speech recognition, powered by the Nuance Dragon® Medical One cloud-based platform. The partnership enables developers to build apps using speech tools that accurately translate a care provider’s voice into a rich, detailed clinical message, helping them communicate with each other and with patients. This advances healthcare delivery and results in more time spent with patients and less time documenting patient records.

TigerText launched its developer platform at the beginning of 2015 to address a growing need in health IT for embeddable, HIPAA-compliant messaging tools. With the Dragon Medical integration, TigerConnect customers can now natively add the speech recognition capabilities of Nuance, a leader with healthcare solutions used in 10,000 healthcare facilities globally.
