Validic

Validic, the healthcare technology interoperability platform for aggregating digital health data, announced today the addition of several new clients and partners, as they continue to expand and grow their global digital health ecosystem. With the addition of several new notable clients in healthcare and wellness, which include WebMD, Pfizer, UPMC, NexJ, and Medhost, Validic’s client population reach increased from 80 million to over 100 million lives in just the last few months. These announcements were made at this week’s mHealth Summit, where Validic is sponsoring, speaking and exhibiting.

At the mHealth Summit, Validic is leading talks with mobile application developers, speaking in healthcare technology sessions and participating in mobile health panels. As well, many clients and integration partners are demonstrating their successes using Validic’s cloud-based, digital health platform to integrate patient data into their health technology systems, portals, applications and wellness programs.

Everyday Health

One of the several new clients Validic has added recently is Everyday Health, a leading provider of digital health and wellness solutions for healthcare professionals, payors and consumers. Premal Parikh, Chief Technology Officer of Everyday Health stated, “Validic was a great choice for us. We found Validic’s easy, single-point connection helps us advance our analytics technology to provide highly personalized and differentiated content. This supports our efforts to deliver the personalized, daily tools our Everyday Health audience needs to make the best health choices, actively manage their conditions and live healthier lives every day.”

the Adidas Group

The adidas Group has also connected into Validic’s digital health ecosystem. Qaizar Hassonjee, Vice President of Innovation at adidas Digital Sports stated, “As a global leader in the sporting goods industry, the adidas Group brings a deep understanding of fitness and physical activity. Innovation in technology is at our core, and Validic shares a similar drive. Connecting our sports and fitness apps and devices with Validic’s digital health ecosystem gives us great access to a growing population of healthcare organizations, technologies and helps us accelerate our strategy to motivate consumers to live a more active life.”

Some of Validic’s technology integration partners featured at the mHealth Summit include: Fitlinxx, iHealth
Labs, Omron, Qardio, Telcare, Withings, Jawbone and Garmin. Additionally, some of Validic’s clients attending the mHealth Summit include: Booz Allen Hamilton, CareSync, Harris Corporation, NexJ, Personal Medicine Plus, Alere, Vheda Health, and the Vitality Group.

“In looking at the growing mHealth landscape,” Drew Schiller, CTO and co-founder of Validic, stated, “there is a lot of technology entering the healthcare market, and even more promises for technology that will not be unfulfilled. Combine that with the lack of standards in healthcare data interoperability, and it can be nearly impossible to navigate the complex world of digital health. But advancements in connectivity are being made, and companies like Validic are leading the way by allowing healthcare companies to connect to mobile health and clinical technology without having to guess where the market is headed, what devices will survive and thrive, or how to standardize and normalize the various data points.”
