What You Should Know:

– IKS Health, a provider of care enablement solutions, has announced that several of its Scribble clinical documentation solutions are now live in the Connection Hub on the Epic Showroom.

– The IKS Scribble Suite can now be integrated with Epic’s electronic health record (EHR) enterprise platform.

Audit-Ready Clinical Documentation

The Epic EHR integration is designed to help clinicians efficiently create accurate clinical notes and generate audit-ready documentation, which is an essential part of a unified revenue cycle management workflow. The Scribble Suite also includes new offerings such as Spanish language support and specialty-specific templates.

The IKS Scribble Suite integration with Epic allows clinicians to choose a version of Scribble that best fits their practice style. This flexibility aims to give clinicians back up to 35 hours per month. The available options include:

  • Scribble Now: Provides real-time documentation powered by generative AI, saving 20-30 minutes per day and helping to reduce burnout.
  • Scribble Swift: Delivers problem-based charting within one hour by combining generative AI with human scribes, saving 30-60 minutes per day and resulting in up to a 4% coding uptick.
  • Scribble Pro: Offers EHR-integrated notes within four hours, saving 30-60 minutes per day with comprehensive reconciliation by clinician-scribes and E&M coding, which leads to 17% higher revenues from coding uptick.

“Having our integration with Epic listed in Connection Hub marks an important milestone in our commitment to equipping care teams with advanced, streamlined technology solutions,” said Ben Crocker, MD, senior vice president of care design and innovation at IKS Health. “We’re committed to building the most clinically intelligent solution in the industry, providing clinicians with streamlined tools for documentation.”
