Knowtion Health Acquires Switch RCM to Enhance AI-Powered Revenue Recovery Solutions

– Knowtion Health, a healthcare revenue cycle company, has acquired Switch RCM, a data- and technology-first company that uncovers and resolves overlooked reimbursement opportunities through intelligent automation and data-driven innovation.The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

– The combination of Knowtion and Switch RCM is designed to address the growing challenges faced by health systems, including increasing payer complexity, shrinking margins, and policy uncertainty. Together, the companies will offer a deeper, broader, and smarter revenue recovery solution to help providers get paid faster and with more confidence. 

Enhancing Knowntion’s Service Model

For nearly two decades, Knowtion Health has combined technology and domain expertise to help health systems reduce denials and underpayments across all claim types. The company has collected over $10B for its customers, enabling health systems to fund clinical services and improve community health. 

Switch RCM is a proven innovator in revenue recovery, specializing in identifying and solving tough-to-collect claims through smart automation and progressive analytics. The acquisition enhances Knowtion’s service model with additional data intelligence, digitization, and engineering expertise, all designed to deliver more insights and more cash to healthcare organizations. 

Launching Innovation Lab

As part of the acquisition, Knowtion is launching an innovation lab that will harness the power of the combined companies’ data, engineering talent, and reimbursement expertise. The lab’s mission is to uncover emerging trends and accelerate the development of new solutions to deliver greater impact for providers.
