Montefiore Health System Selects AWS as Strategic Cloud Provider

What You Should Know: 

– Montefiore Health System, a healthcare provider in New York announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance its digital healthcare ecosystem and improve patient care. 

– This initiative will leverage AWS’s cloud capabilities to modernize Montefiore’s technology infrastructure, enhance data security, and drive innovation in healthcare delivery.

Montefiore plans to transition a majority of its technology portfolio, including its Epic electronic health record (EHR) applications, to the AWS Cloud. This migration will provide numerous benefits, including:

  • Enhanced Scalability and Reliability: AWS’s cloud infrastructure provides the scalability and reliability needed to support Montefiore’s growing healthcare operations and ensure continuous access to critical systems.
  • Improved Data Security: AWS’s robust security measures and compliance certifications will enhance the protection of sensitive patient data.
  • Increased Efficiency: Cloud migration will streamline workflows, optimize resource utilization, and drive cost efficiencies.
