What You Should Know:

– Xsolis, a provider of AI-driven solutions for healthcare administration, has announced the launch of a new generative AI platform designed to streamline the appeals process for healthcare providers.

– MultiCare Health System in Washington State will be the first to pilot this innovative solution, which aims to reduce administrative burden and improve revenue cycle efficiency.

Addressing Administrative Waste in Healthcare

Healthcare providers face significant challenges with administrative tasks, including managing claim denials and navigating the appeals process. These processes are often time-consuming and labor-intensive, contributing to clinician burnout and impacting revenue cycle performance.

Xsolis’ generative AI solution addresses this challenge by automating key aspects of the appeals process. The platform leverages natural language processing and machine learning to:

  • Streamline documentation: Assist clinicians in generating accurate and comprehensive appeal letters.
  • Expedite submissions: Automate the process of submitting appeals to payers, ensuring timely filing.
  • Improve efficiency: Reduce the administrative burden on healthcare staff, freeing up their time to focus on patient care.

The new generative AI solution complements Xsolis’ existing predictive AI models, providing a comprehensive approach to revenue cycle management. The pilot partnership will enable MultiCare to expedite the appeals process, ensuring timely reimbursement for services provided.

“Through our continued partnership with Xsolis, we’ve reduced administrative tasks, improved payer relations, and established a successful track record of operational and financial improvements,” said Debbie Schardt, assistant vice president of revenue cycle and utilization management with MultiCare Health System. “Xsolis’ enhanced generative AI capabilities will build on our successes in critical areas, including, reducing burnout, improving job satisfaction, and generating financial savings for the organization.”
