What You Should Know:

– Grin, a virtual care platform for oral health, has secured a significant investment from CareQuest Innovation Partners. This funding will accelerate Grin’s mission to improve access to dental care, particularly for underserved communities, and further develop its innovative teledentistry solutions.

– CareQuest Innovation Partners is dedicated to supporting and scaling transformative solutions to improve oral health. This investment in Grin reinforces their commitment and aligns with their mission to address the oral health crisis.

Transforming Dental Care with Technology

Grin’s platform combines the Grin App with the first-of-its-kind Grin Scope®, an FDA-listed medical device that provides comprehensive views of patients’ mouths. This technology enables patients to perform self-scans under the supervision of dental professionals, facilitating virtual check-ins and ongoing monitoring between appointments.

Grin’s innovative approach has already made a significant impact:

  • Faster Image Capture: Grin’s technology enables dental care providers to obtain clinical images five times faster than traditional methods.
  • Increased Access: Grin is one of the few teledentistry companies with programs accessible through Medicaid, helping to close oral health equity gaps.
  • Improved Patient Engagement: The platform has captured millions of scans for tens of thousands of patients, connecting them with over 2,000 care providers globally.

CareQuest Innovation Partners’ continued investments in Grin underscore our shared vision of revolutionizing access to oral health care,” said Adam Schulhof, DMD, CEO and founder of Grin. “At Grin, we are dedicated to bridging gaps in care, especially for underserved populations, and this partnership allows us to expand our reach with cutting-edge teledentistry solutions. Together, we are paving the way for more accessible, high-quality dental care that delivers lasting impact.
