What You Should Know:

– HHAeXchange, a provider of homecare management solutions, announced today its acquisition of Sandata Technologies, a veteran in the homecare industry with four decades of experience. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

– The strategic move strengthens HHAeXchange’s position in the rapidly growing home and community-based services (HCBS) market, where demand for personal care aides is projected to increase by 43% between 2020 and 2035.

Meeting the Growing Need for Homecare Services

This acquisition comes at a crucial time for the healthcare industry, as the demand for homecare services continues to rise. By combining their expertise and resources, HHAeXchange and Sandata are well-equipped to meet this growing need and provide innovative solutions for caregivers, families, providers, and payers.

Building on a Foundation of Strategic Acquisitions

Sandata’s industry-leading software, systems, and services optimize billing and claims processing for payers, streamline administrative processes for providers, and facilitate better experiences for caregivers and those who receive care. The acquisition of Sandata builds upon HHAeXchange’s recent strategic acquisitions of Cashé and Generations. These investments demonstrate HHAeXchange’s ongoing commitment to advancing its mission of enabling the delivery of high-quality care in the home.

Expanding Capabilities and Enhancing Value

The combined strengths of HHAeXchange and Sandata will create a comprehensive suite of solutions for the homecare industry, including:

  • Improved care coordination: Enhancing communication and collaboration among caregivers, providers, and payers.
  • Increased efficiency: Streamlining administrative tasks and optimizing workflows.
  • Enhanced compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Better patient outcomes: Empowering caregivers to deliver the best possible care in the home.

Leadership and Future Growth

As part of the acquisition, Paul Joiner, CEO of HHAeXchange, will lead the combined organization, leveraging his extensive experience in the healthcare technology industry to drive future growth and innovation.
