Medsphere today announced an agreement with Texas-based Candor Healthcare to implement the company’s healthcare IT solutions and services.

Medsphere Systems Corporation, a provider of affordable and interoperable healthcare information technology (IT) solutions and services, today announced that the company has reached an agreement with Texas-based Candor Healthcare to implement Medsphere healthcare IT solutions in new hospitals Candor manages. The two companies will officially kick off the partnership with Rock Regional Hospital, a new acute care facility in Derby, Kansas, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2019.

Candor provides the expertise healthcare organizations need to effectively get up and running or improve existing operations. Candor services encompass organizational management and development, revenue management, and technology acquisition and optimization.

At Rock Regional Hospital, Medsphere will implement the company’s CareVue Cloud electronic health record (EHR) as a software as a service (SaaS) solution, which incorporates a full suite of clinical, revenue cycle and financial components available through Amazon Web Services.

Medsphere’s CareVue Cloud solution for acute and behavioral health care and ChartLogic’s SaaS EHR/RCM solution for ambulatory environments give management groups like Candor the freedom to work with one healthcare IT partner for clinical, revenue cycle and financial functionality.

“We’re excited and proud to establish this relationship with Candor Healthcare,” said Irv Lichtenwald, Medsphere president and CEO. “What’s particularly satisfying for Medsphere is that we share with Candor a commitment to providing healthcare facilities with the kinds of advanced healthcare IT benefits often reserved for large academic hospitals. If healthcare is going to improve to the benefit of all, we must make sure technology is uniformly available. Medsphere and Candor share that commitment.”
