What You Should Know
- Verily Health Inc. has secured a strategic equity investment from NVIDIA, extending its fundraising momentum following its corporate restructuring and initial $300 million funding round in early 2026.
- CU Healthcare Innovation Fund II, LP committed an additional follow-on investment, joining a capitalization syndicate that includes Alphabet (as a minority stakeholder), Series X Capital, and UCHealth.
- Directly accelerates commercial deployment of the Verily Pre Platform, the enterprise data and artificial intelligence platform that harmonizes messy, fragmented clinical assets into FHIR-native, AI-ready datasets for life sciences and health systems.
- Expands funding for Verily Me, the organization’s patient engagement offering designed to support individuals throughout longitudinal care journeys.
Expanding the Compute Foundation for Verily Pre and Verily Me
The capital infusion cements an operational collaboration first established between Verily and NVIDIA in October 2025.
The investment directly supports two core enterprise and consumer offerings:
- Scaling the Verily Pre Platform: Serves as the central data and technical foundation across research and health system operations. By integrating NVIDIA’s full-stack accelerated computing—including NVIDIA B200 GPUs, the NeMo generative AI framework, Parabricks secondary genomic analysis, and RAPIDS accelerated data science libraries—researchers utilizing Pre Workbench can process multimodal biomedical datasets and train models at significantly higher computational efficiency and speed.
- Advancing Multimodal Foundation Models (Forecast 1.0™): Leverages NVIDIA-accelerated infrastructure to scale Forecast 1.0, Verily’s proprietary foundation model that fuses genomic sequencing data directly with longitudinal EHR flowsheets to predict long-term chronic disease risk trajectories and organ decompensation.
- Growing Verily Me & Agentic Patient Engagement: Funds the continued expansion of Verily Me, the company’s consumer-facing health navigation app, and its embedded conversational AI companion, Violet, to close gaps in preventive care and guide longitudinal chronic disease management.
Strategic Rationale: Cementing Independence and Accelerated Computing
The investment marks another critical milestone in Verily’s corporate evolution following its transition to an independent entity earlier this year. With Alphabet stepping back to a non-controlling minority stakeholder, Verily Health has aggressively secured strategic partners to establish vendor-neutral credibility across academic medical centers and life sciences sponsors.
By adding NVIDIA directly to its cap table, Verily secures prioritized access to high-demand next-generation AI hardware (such as Blackwell-architecture B200 accelerators), ensuring its biomedical data infrastructure remains optimized for the compute intensity of multi-omics foundation modeling.
“We are pleased to welcome NVIDIA as a new investor in Verily. These investments strengthen our ability to pursue the opportunity ahead,” said Stephen Gillett, Chairman and CEO of Verily. “Together, these investments and the continued support of our current investors accelerate our vision to build a trusted foundation for healthcare, bringing together the information and intelligence needed to power better decisions and unlock the full potential of AI across the healthcare ecosystem”.
