Mayo Clinic Launches Platform_Orchestrate to Accelerate Clinical Development

What You Should Know:

– Mayo Clinic Platform has launched a multiyear pathway program within its Accelerate initiative, announcing an inaugural cohort of 12 health technology companies focused on artificial intelligence across care delivery and enterprise operations.

– Since its launch in 2022, Mayo Clinic Platform Accelerate has supported over 130 portfolio companies globally, historically leaning on structured 30-week tracks.

– The new multiyear pathway expands that architecture, providing mature and clinical-stage AI companies with sustained, multi-year access to Mayo Clinic Platform’s secure discovery environment, technical mentorship, and de-identified longitudinal clinical dataset—which spans millions of multimodal patient records including lab results, clinical flowsheets, pathology, and diagnostic imaging.

Multiyear Pathway for 12 Clinical AI Startups

The Inaugural Multiyear Cohort: Encompasses 12 artificial intelligence companies building specialized clinical and operational solutions:

  • Cappsule: Ambient clinical monitoring and continuous real-world data capture.
  • CerebraAI: Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) upgrading noncontrast CT scans closer to MRI-grade diagnostic accuracy.
  • Clair Health: Women’s health platform grounded in continuous, direct hormone tracking.
  • Durotimi AI: Localized AI systems for precision oncology care.
  • Electrokare: Biological intelligence infrastructure turning episodic snapshots into continuous measurements.
  • Floe Health: Clinical reasoning engine built for hospital case management.
  • Koroid: AI-native operating system streamlining healthcare operations and workforce capacity.
  • MedLink Global: AI-driven clinical tools designed for psychiatric care.
  • OPTT Health: Clinically validated, scalable digital mental healthcare platform.
  • PONS: Mass-market ultrasound diagnostic intelligence for early disease detection.
  • Radical Health: Patient-facing second-opinion service delivering personalized treatment recommendations.
  • Respiree: Clinically validated machine learning tracking cardiopulmonary disease progression across the continuum.

“The Accelerate program was intentionally designed to support digital health companies ready to transform healthcare,” said Jamie Sundsbak, Director of the Mayo Clinic Platform Accelerate program. “As participation continues to grow, the program has evolved to support solutions developers through multiple pathways tailored to their different stages of development.”
