What You Should Know

  • Social care coordination leader Unite Us has acquired Vircho Health, a technology platform providing performance, quality, and financial accountability analytics for community care networks. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
  • The acquisition includes the full Vircho Health team, led by co-founders Craig Manson and Evan Jones.
  • The deal transitions Unite Us from proving that a social service occurred (closed-loop referrals) to providing intelligent infrastructure for network performance, quality analytics, and dollar-level financial tracking.
  • Vircho Health’s tools are already deployed alongside Unite Us technology in North Carolina through Impact Health, supporting the Healthy Opportunities Pilot (HOP) and the state’s Rural Health Transformation Program (NC ROOTS Hub).

Unite Us Integrates Vircho Health for Outcome-Based Validation

Unite Us has acquired Vircho Health to integrate financial measurement, performance analytics, and outcome validation tools into its health and community care platform. The acquisition targets a key shift in social determinants of health (SDoH) funding, where government payers, health plans, and foundations are requiring proof of service delivery and quantifiable financial returns rather than basic closed-loop referral tracking.

Unite Us brings a 13-year dataset of nearly 125 million care connections across clinical, social, and economic services. By embedding Vircho’s clinical informatics and analytics tools, the combined platform allows network administrators to track community care expenditures down to individual services and dollars. The system generates performance reporting for each organization in a network, surfacing high-performing nodes and identifying areas that require operational support.

The technology also aims to ease reporting friction for community-based organizations (CBOs) by automating invoicing and documentation, reducing administrative overhead for front-line care teams.

The two platforms already operate together in real-world initiatives, supporting Impact Health in Western North Carolina’s Healthy Opportunities Pilot (HOP) and the state’s Rural Health Transformation Program (NC ROOTS Hub). Full terms of the transaction were not disclosed, and the Vircho Health team, including co-founders Craig Manson and Evan Jones, has joined Unite Us.

“We earned the trust of the communities we serve by taking on the problem everyone else thought was too complicated: going the last mile to close the loop,” said Taylor Justice, CEO and co-founder of Unite Us. “Vircho’s analytics expertise, combined with what we’ve built over 13 years, gives our network a new layer of intelligence and gets the right insight to the right decision maker, so issues get resolved the first time.”
