Beyond Real-World Trial Iteration: QuantHealth Secures $45M for AI Clinical Simulation

What You Should Know

  • Tel Aviv-based AI clinical simulation platform QuantHealth closed a $45 million Series B financing round led by Qumra Capital.
  • The round saw participation from major strategic and venture investors, including Sanofi Ventures, Pitango HealthTech, Bertelsmann Healthcare Investments (BHI), Artofin, GC Ventures, NewHealth, Shoni Top, and Esplanade Ventures.
  • Proceeds will advance next-generation AI models, deepen scientific validation, expand therapeutic coverage beyond 40 indications, and expand product offerings across the clinical and commercial lifecycles.
  • With over 90% of clinical-stage drugs failing—75% due to efficacy or safety issues—QuantHealth’s platform tests and optimizes trial designs prior to patient enrollment, achieving up to 90% predictive accuracy across 600+ simulated trials.
  • QuantHealth currently partners with 12 of the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical companies to de-risk development timelines across oncology, cardiometabolic, and inflammatory diseases.

Bypassing 90% Drug Failure Rates: QuantHealth Scales Simulation-First Development with Qumra and Sanofi

QuantHealth has raised $45M in Series B financing to scale its simulation-first clinical trial platform, targeting the biopharmaceutical industry’s persistent 90% drug failure rate. Led by Qumra Capital with backing from Sanofi Ventures and other healthtech investors, the capital will expand QuantHealth’s predictive simulation engine across enterprise drug pipelines.

Historically, pharmaceutical sponsors have relied on real-world trial iterations to test clinical protocols—enrolling patients and waiting months or years for results only to discover unpredicted safety issues or insufficient efficacy, which account for roughly 75% of clinical failures. This trial-and-error approach drains R&D budgets and delays time-to-market for promising therapies.

QuantHealth’s platform allows biopharma teams to test protocols, refine inclusion and exclusion criteria, and model commercial outcomes in silico before recruiting patients or committing capital. The software leverages large-scale real-world data and predictive analytics across more than 30 therapeutic areas—including oncology, cardiometabolic, and inflammatory diseases—achieving up to 90% predictive accuracy across more than 600 simulated trials.

The company’s predictive tools are already embedded in clinical development workflows at 12 of the top 20 global pharmaceutical companies. QuantHealth plans to use the Series B proceeds to expand its proprietary datasets, advance scientific validation, and grow its client-engagement and go-to-market teams as it pushes into 40+ disease indications.

“Today, clinical development decisions are still largely made through real-world iteration—running trials, waiting for results, and adjusting at significant cost and risk. We’re fundamentally changing that model,” said Orr Inbar, CEO and co-founder of QuantHealth. “With our predictive simulations, teams can evaluate clinical and commercial decisions before enrolling a single patient or committing capital.”
