Salesforce Launches Agentforce Health to Power an AI Workforce for Healthcare
Salesforce has introduced six new Agentforce Health AI agents designed to help healthcare organizations unlock the value of fragmented health data while reducing the operational burden placed on clinicians and administrative teams. Built with pre-integrated connections to providers, payers, and public health infrastructure, the platform enables organizations to transform disconnected medical information into actionable insights that improve care coordination, streamline patient services, and optimize hospital operations.
Agentforce Health supports a unified, patient-consented master health record by consolidating clinical information from checkups, diagnostic results, procedures, and remote health monitoring tools into a single interoperable environment. Integrations with HealthEx allow patients to securely control and share their medical history, while Verily contributes multimodal health data—from wearables to laboratory results—to enhance predictive and preventative care. In parallel, Viz.ai detects suspected conditions directly from medical imaging and automatically initiates clinical workflows, helping providers alert specialists faster and coordinate treatment more efficiently.
Beyond clinical data integration, the platform introduces AI agents that streamline operational workflows. Referral and assessment automation helps route patients to appropriate specialists and populate care plans using historical health data. Bi-directional EHR connectivity through MuleSoft allows staff to retrieve and update patient information in real time, while claims and coverage agents simplify insurance inquiries and eligibility checks. For public health and hospital administration, additional agents support epidemiological analysis, rural care delivery, and hospital command-center operations such as bed management and staffing coordination.
Organizations like MIMIT Health are already using the platform to activate previously siloed health data and improve operational performance.
“We’ve seen dramatic operational improvement — including a 459% ROI and $1.5M in savings, alongside increased patient satisfaction and reduced administrative burden, ” said Dr. Paramjit “Romi” Chopra, CEO & Founder, MIMIT Health.
