University Hospitals to Deploy Hippocratic AI’s Conversational Agents

What You Should Know:

– Hippocratic AI, the global leader in safety-focused generative AI healthcare agents secures $126M in Series C funding at a $3.5 billion valuation led by Avenir Growth, with significant participation from new and existing investors, including CapitalG (Google’s growth fund), General Catalyst, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Kleiner Perkins, and major providers like Universal Health Services (UHS) and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

– This round brings the company’s total funding to $404M and underscores the massive demand for scalable solutions to the industry’s labor and patient access crisis.

Scale and Clinical Trust

In just 15 months since commercialization, Hippocratic AI has achieved monumental adoption, establishing partnerships with over 50 large health systems, payors, and pharma clients in six countries.

  • Clinical Metrics: The company has built over 1,000 clinical use cases and completed over 115 million clinical patient interactions with no safety issues.
  • Partner Trust: Partnerships span major names such as Cleveland Clinic, Northwestern Medicine, Ochsner Health, Moffitt Cancer Center, Advocate Health, VNS Health, and Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Trust.
  • Executive Validation: Healthcare leaders consistently praise the company’s commitment to safety. Roxanna Gapstur, CEO of WellSpan Health, noted their clinical leaders were “very impressed” with the safety information on their AI care assistant. Andy Crowder, Chief Digital Officer at Advocate Health, highlighted the focus on partnerships that “amplify and enhance human connection rather than replace it”.

Global Expansion

The proceeds from the Series C will enable Hippocratic AI to accelerate its impact. The company’s goal is to usher in an era of “abundance to healthcare never seen before”. The capital will broaden and deepen customer deployments worldwide, fuel continued investment in its Polaris Safety Constellation Architecture and product innovation, and pursue strategic mergers and acquisitions to expand its capabilities.
