What You Should Know:

– AVIA announced the strategic acquisition of Panda Health, a move that significantly expands the reach and capabilities of its AVIA Marketplace platform. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

– The combination of the two entities creates a community that encompasses over 75% of the nation’s health systems and connects them with over 7,000 solution companies.

Unifying Intelligence and Community

The core value of the combined platform is its role as a human-validated digital transformation platform. It provides both healthcare providers and solution companies with access to the industry’s most comprehensive healthcare technology intelligence. The integration of Panda Health’s resources is seen as a major enhancement.

“The value of AVIA Marketplace is our community – you’re leveraging the collective wisdom of hundreds of health system leaders and purchasers,” said Clay Holderman, CEO of AVIA. He emphasized the unique nature of the platform: “We are the only healthcare technology navigator that was built by health systems for health systems.”.

From Data to Actionable Digital Adoption

The newly scaled platform is powered by robust agentic AI workflows and enhanced with human insight. The result for healthcare organizations is decision-quality insights that are validated in the context of real health system needs. This accelerated process aims to ensure confident and effective digital adoption.

Crucially, the organization remains independent and evidence-based, allowing healthcare organizations to rely on neutral research and peer-driven reviews when making confident, data-informed decisions about digital health solutions.

The joint organization is set to expand its capabilities with new insights, collaboration opportunities, and digital tools designed to anticipate the needs of a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. AVIA is currently soliciting input from healthcare leaders through a survey to help shape the platform as the two organizations merge. Panda Health CEO Ryan Bengtson will serve as an advisor to AVIA, the parent company of Marketplace.
