What You Should Know:

–       Doctronic, the AI-native platform delivering fast, private, and personalized healthcare at scale, today announced a $20 million Series A round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Union Square Ventures, Tusk Ventures, Mantis VC, Seven Stars, and luminary angels across AI & healthcare including Dr. Fei-Fei Li, Jay Desai, and Scott Belsky.

–       The new funding will enable Doctronic to expand its services and accelerate its mission to provide more Americans with instant, affordable, and individualized healthcare — both directly to consumers and through emerging partnerships with payers and health systems.

Doctronic Scales Nationwide, Delivering AI-Powered Primary Care at Lower Cost

Doctronic, an AI-driven health assistant, is redefining how Americans access timely, affordable, and reliable healthcare. Available 24/7 in all 50 states, the platform combines collective intelligence architecture with clinical oversight to provide personalized, anonymous health insights and seamless connections to licensed physicians for as little as $39.

Founded by Dr. Adam Oskowitz and Matt Pavelle, Doctronic was created to address one of the nation’s most persistent challenges: the growing difficulty of securing timely access to primary care. Through its AI advisor, users can receive four possible explanations for their symptoms, a likelihood-based assessment, and a structured plan of action—including an AI-generated SOAP note to share with providers. When further care is needed, the platform enables instant scheduling of video visits with licensed physicians, often at a lower cost than a typical co-pay.

Since launch, Doctronic has facilitated over 15 million medical conversations for more than 1 million unique users and currently manages upwards of 50,000 weekly visits. The company is expanding its reach through partnerships with payers and health systems, including an upcoming collaboration with Safe Harbor Health to integrate AI-powered primary care into its TOTAL Wellness Program, serving more than 100,000 patients.

Unlike generalized AI assistants, Doctronic leverages a collective intelligence model in which multiple specialized agents perform structured clinical reasoning, while licensed physicians oversee and refine outputs. Each interaction enriches a proprietary dataset linking symptoms, outcomes, and evidence, improving accuracy over time. In a recently published validation study, Doctronic demonstrated a 99.2% alignment between its treatment recommendations and those of licensed clinicians.

This growth comes as the U.S. healthcare system faces a projected shortage of up to 124,000 physicians by 2034, leaving millions without consistent access to primary care. By offering fast, accurate, and affordable health guidance, Doctronic positions itself as a critical complement to traditional healthcare.

“Doctronic is scaling at a pace that makes it clear the future of healthcare will be AI-driven,” said Faraz Fatemi, Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners. “What sets them apart is a unique agentic architecture that blends collective AI intelligence with clinical oversight—making Doctronic a trusted entry point for millions of patients.”

Headquartered in New York, Doctronic continues to accelerate adoption nationwide, meeting rising demand from patients, providers, and partners while setting a new standard for accessible, AI-powered healthcare.
