mPulse Acquires Clarity Software Solutions to Redefine Health Communications

What You Should Know:

– mPulse, a provider of Health Experience and Insights (HXI) technology, has acquired Clarity Software Solutions, a leader in health communications technology. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclsoed.

– The strategic move brings together two organizations that are changing the status quo in healthcare and aiming to bring innovative new approaches to the market. Together, the companies partner with over 450 healthcare organizations, more than 50 of the 60 largest health plans, and over 80% of 4.5- and 5-Star Medicare Advantage plans.

– According to the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Commercial Member Health Plan Study, a widening gap exists between consumer expectations and what health plans can deliver. The study notes that clear communication, digital convenience, and meaningful member support are critical competitive differentiators.

A Unified, Digital-Driven End-to-End Experience

The acquisition will allow mPulse to combine its HXI platform with Clarity’s member communication and engagement solutions. This unified platform will leverage governed AI, eliminate fragmentation, and deliver a digital-driven, end-to-end experience across multiple channels to magnify value for health plans and their members.

Steve Mongelli, CEO of Clarity, will continue as President at mPulse and will lead a broad set of functions to help drive market leadership and innovation.

“I am excited for Clarity to join forces with mPulse. Our creative, data-driven member communications will now get amplified through mPulse’s scale and innovation. Combined, we can deliver interactive experiences that not only inform but engage and help drive action—whether through mobile, web, or impactful physical communications,” said Steve Mongelli, CEO of Clarity. “With Clarity, mPulse’s HXI capabilities will strengthen its position within the industry with a breadth of consumer touchpoints and integrated predictive analytics.”
