– Welldoc® today announced it will provide the technological foundation for the newly launched Lilly Health™ Personalized Health & Medicine Platform (Lilly Health app).
– The Lilly Health app, developed by Eli Lilly and Company, is designed to offer a tailored patient experience for individuals interested in or currently using Lilly’s incretin-based therapies for conditions such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea associated with obesity.
– Initially, the Lilly Health app will be available for patients prescribed Zepbound® (tirzepatide) or Mounjaro® (tirzepatide).
Crafting a Seamless and Tailored Patient Experience
The collaboration between Lilly and Welldoc aims to build a more seamless patient journey by integrating educational resources and targeted support directly into the Lilly Health app. The app will feature tools to assist patients with their cardiometabolic health goals and weight management, including medication logging, reminders, connectivity with various health devices, and comprehensive health data tracking.
Lilly Health™ Personalized Health & Medicine Platform
Lilly Health Personalized Health & Medicine Platform is intended for use as a health management aid for adult patients 18 years or older who have been prescribed Zepbound® (tirzepatide) or Mounjaro® (tirzepatide). The Lilly Health app is built upon Welldoc’s well-established digital cardiometabolic platform. This platform provides Zepbound and Mounjaro users with extensive device and data connectivity options, in-app nutrition and exercise resources, and comprehensive data trends and insights.
These features are designed to help individuals effectively manage complex cardiometabolic conditions in collaboration with their healthcare providers and optimize their overall health over time. Lilly Health is not intended to provide treatment decisions or replace the care and advice of a licensed Health Care Provider (HCP). All medical analysis and treatment plans should be performed by a licensed HCP.
