What You Should Know:

– AvaSure, a leader in acute virtual care solutions launches its new Virtual Care Assistant™, an AI-driven platform designed to revolutionize how hospitals and healthcare systems manage patient requests and optimize clinical workflows.

– The solution leverages advanced technologies from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and NVIDIA to enhance communication, prioritize urgent needs, and improve the overall patient experience.

AI-Powered Patient Interaction and Triage

The Virtual Care Assistant appears to patients as a friendly avatar named “Vicky.” This AI-powered assistant efficiently triages patient requests, categorizing them into clinical and operational groups to ensure they are directed to the appropriate personnel or team.

For example, a patient reporting chest pain would be flagged as urgent and immediately routed to the on-floor clinical team, while a request to adjust the room temperature would be categorized as operational and directed to the maintenance team.

Streamlined Workflows and Enhanced Efficiency

All patient requests are centralized into a dashboard, providing healthcare teams with a comprehensive view of patient needs and enabling efficient resource allocation. This streamlined approach improves response times, optimizes workflows, and enhances overall operational efficiency.

Availability

The AvaSure Virtual Care Assistant is anticipated to be commercially available in late 2025. Select development partners currently have access to the solution, providing valuable feedback and insights to further refine its capabilities.

“The future of healthcare demands smart, responsive solutions that not only assist clinicians but also improve the patient experience,” said Adam McMullin, CEO of AvaSure. The AvaSure Virtual Care Assistant is our response to the growing needs of hospitals and healthcare teams—enabling a more efficient, organized, and compassionate care environment. By combining the power of AvaSure’s Virtual Care Platform with OCI and the NVIDIA accelerated computing platform, we are delivering a transformative tool that not only empowers healthcare providers to tackle today’s challenges but also sets a new standard for the future of care delivery.”
