What You Should Know:

– Rezilient Health, a St. Louis-based tech-enabled healthcare company, announced today that it has secured $10M in Series A funding led by Govo Venture Partners, with participation from Bridge Ventures, Acorn Pacific Ventures, The Council, and notable angel investors including Jim McKelvey (Co-Founder of Block), Mark and Robyn Jones (Founders of Goosehead Insurance), Jeremy Friese (Founder of Verata Health), and David Karandish (Founder of Answers.com).

– The funding will also support the expansion of the company’s service offerings and further develop its innovative CloudClinic™ model.

Revolutionizing Healthcare Delivery with CloudClinics™

Rezilient reduces employers’ total cost of care through increasing access and utilization of value-based primary and specialty care. Rezilient Health’s CloudClinic™ model, which includes primary care, urgent care, specialty care, labs, and imaging, all in one location, aims to reduce reliance on costly emergency room visits and hospitalizations. This approach delivers a significant return on investment for employers and improves employee health outcomes.

How CloudClinics™ Works

CloudClinics™ are physical locations equipped with advanced technology that allows remote physicians to provide care via telepresence. This innovative approach offers several benefits:

  • Increased access to specialists: Patients in areas with limited access to specialists can receive care from top physicians remotely.
  • Shorter wait times: Same-day appointments are often available, reducing delays in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Enhanced patient experience: The comfortable and tech-enabled environment of CloudClinics™ enhances the overall patient experience.
  • Improved physician efficiency: The model allows physicians to deliver care more effectively, optimizing their time and resources.

Expanding Reach and Services

The Series A funding comes on the heels of Rezilient Health’s partnership with Oklahoma State University to provide comprehensive healthcare benefits to faculty and staff at a new CloudClinic™ location in Stillwater, OK. With the new funding, Rezilient Health plans to:

  • Open more CloudClinic™ locations: Scaling its presence in Missouri, Texas, and Oklahoma.
  • Expand its scope of services: Offering a wider range of primary and specialty care options.
  • Enhance its technology platform: Further developing its telehealth and care coordination capabilities.

“Our goal today is the same as on day one: flip the traditional healthcare model on its head and deliver care that centers a relationship between patients and their care team, in the communities that are typically overlooked by the innovation economy,” says Dr. Danish Nagda, Rezilient’s CEO and Co-Founder. “This capital is not only a testament to our team’s commitment to our customers, partners, and the families we continue to serve, it also sets the foundation for rapidly growing our impact across more communities that are suffocating under the weight of the traditional U.S. healthcare industry. We’re going beyond just solving short-term health problems,” continues Dr Nagda. “We’re creating the long-term doctor-patient relationships that are crucial for the best preventative care within an agile, distributed healthcare delivery system.”
