What You Should Know:

– AvaSure, a leader in acute virtual care solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to develop a groundbreaking virtual concierge solution powered by NVIDIA AI technology.

–  The innovative solution aims to transform the hospital experience by providing seamless, AI-driven support for clinicians, patients, and families.

AI-Powered Virtual Concierge

Healthcare organizations are facing increasing pressure to address staffing shortages, rising costs, and complex patient needs. By integrating AI-driven solutions like the virtual concierge, hospitals can streamline workflows, reduce the burden on bedside staff, and improve overall patient care.

The AI-powered virtual concierge will be built on AvaSure’s Intelligent Virtual Care Platform, combined with Oracle’s AI offerings and NVIDIA’s accelerated computing infrastructure. This powerful combination will enable the virtual concierge to provide intelligent and personalized assistance in a variety of settings, including patient rooms, nurse stations, and administrative areas.

A Personalized Virtual Assistant

The AI-powered virtual concierge will function similarly to voice-activated assistants used at home. By using a simple wake word, clinicians, patients, and families can request assistance with tasks such as:

  • Staffing requests: Triaging and assigning tasks to appropriate staff members
  • Language translation services: Providing real-time translation for non-English-speaking patients and their families
  • Patient requests: Assisting patients with requests for items or information

Improving Patient Experiences

The virtual concierge is designed to simplify communication and improve the overall patient experience. By providing timely and personalized assistance, the virtual concierge can help ensure that patient needs are met promptly and effectively.

Availability

The new virtual concierge solution is expected to be available next year, offering hospitals and health systems a powerful tool to enhance patient care and optimize clinical workflows.

“This collaboration marks an exciting milestone in our mission to revolutionize patient care with intelligent virtual solutions,” said Adam McMullin, CEO of AvaSure. “We are excited to explore how incorporating AvaSure’s expertise in virtual care with OCI’s AI infrastructure and NVIDIA’s advanced NIM microservices can help create a solution to redefine how care is delivered in hospitals and health systems, empowering care teams to provide more efficient and effective patient care.”
