The New Enso 3: Redefining Pain Relief
The Enso 3 device, designed with new materials and colors for improved comfort, attaches to the skin via a reusable gel pad, allowing easy wear during exercise therapy or daily activities. It features clinically proven electrical waveforms tailored to different pain levels and body parts. In addition to its original waveform, shown to reduce pain by over 50%, Enso 3 includes two new waveforms for smaller muscles or those with higher sensitivity. The device will also receive software updates over time, providing new waveforms for enhanced pain relief.
Superior Performance in Pain Reduction
In a recent randomized controlled trial with 325 participants, Enso demonstrated superior pain reduction compared to traditional Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) devices and exercise therapy alone:
– Users of Enso and exercise therapy were 2.3 times more likely to experience clinically significant pain reduction than those using TENS devices with exercise therapy.
– Enso combined with exercise therapy was 2.8 times more effective in reducing pain than exercise therapy alone.
– 48.8% of Enso users reported significant pain improvement, compared to 34.6% of TENS users and 35.9% of those relying on exercise therapy without Enso.
Dr. Amitabh Gulati, a board-certified chronic pain specialist, emphasized that Enso is a powerful tool for regaining mobility and reducing reliance on opioids or injections. Through the Hinge Health platform, Enso 3 integrates with digital exercise therapy, movement feedback, and comprehensive care from a clinical team, delivering an all-in-one solution for pain management.
