What You Should Know:

– Virtual care clinic Midi Health announced an exclusive collaboration with the internationally renowned Mount Sinai Health System.

– This partnership aims to provide specialized care and personalized treatment plans for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause in the greater New York metro area.

Bridging the Gap in Menopause Care

Millions of American women suffer from life-altering symptoms during menopause, yet less than a quarter receive adequate care. This partnership between Midi Health and Mount Sinai seeks to bridge this gap by offering accessible, expert-led virtual care.

Combining Strengths

Midi Health’s virtual clinic allows for seamless integration with patients’ existing care network within Mount Sinai-affiliated practices and employee health centers. This ensures continuity of care and facilitates communication between patients and their physicians.

Mount Sinai, with its renowned Icahn School of Medicine and eight hospitals in the New York area, is a leader in research, patient care, and innovation, including a strong focus on women’s health. Dr. Charles Ascher-Walsh, MD, of Mount Sinai, emphasizes the importance of “providing specialized care tailored to the unique needs of a woman in midlife.”

Easy Access to Care

This collaboration extends further, offering services to both consumers and those covered by employer-sponsored healthcare plans. New patients can access Midi Health’s services through a dedicated website (https://www.joinmidi.com/mountsinai) or by receiving a referral from their Mount Sinai physician. Midi’s care is overseen by a team of nationally recognized physicians and researchers, led by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kathleen Jordan and Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Mindy Goldman, both with extensive experience in women’s health.
