What You Should Know:

– Modern Health, a global workplace mental health platform, announced today the acquisition of Anvil Health’s AI technology and the appointment of Paul Clark as Head of AI Strategy.

– The strategic acquisition reinforces Modern Health’s dedication to leveraging cutting-edge technology to improve mental health outcomes and expand access to care.

Paul Clark Bio/Background

Anvil Health, co-founded by Paul Clark and Jon Bischke, developed Ascribe, an AI-powered solution designed to optimize the healthcare provider experience. With over two decades of experience in technology leadership, Paul Clark brings a wealth of expertise to Modern Health. In his new role, he will lead the development of the company’s AI technology strategy and drive initiatives to enhance the member and customer experience.

Addressing the Mental Health Crisis

Mental health is a growing global concern, with half of those diagnosed failing to receive adequate treatment. Traditional approaches to mental healthcare often prove ineffective and inaccessible. Modern Health’s AI-powered platform addresses these challenges by matching individuals with the most appropriate care based on their specific needs and preferences.

By integrating Anvil Health’s AI technology, Modern Health aims to further refine its platform and deliver even more personalized and effective mental healthcare solutions. The company’s stepped-care approach, combined with advanced AI capabilities, has demonstrated success in reducing mental health issues and preventing their onset.

“This acquisition goes beyond technology; it’s about transformative vision,” said Jesse Calderon, Chief Technology Officer at Modern Health. “We are thrilled to welcome Paul to the team. His deep experience in AI and machine learning will be instrumental in shaping our strategies to leverage these technologies, positioning Modern Health at the forefront of AI-driven mental health innovation. We are deeply committed to ensuring that more people worldwide can access the highest quality mental health care, and technology plays a key role in achieving that goal.”
