Expanding Geographic Footprint and Enhancing Care Delivery
CHS brings a strong provider network, including over 350 primary care physicians, primarily concentrated in key markets such as Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, New Mexico, Virginia, and Texas. This acquisition will enable Astrana to expand its reach and deepen its penetration in these regions.
By combining CHS’s provider footprint with Astrana’s technology-driven care enablement platform, the company aims to deliver enhanced care coordination, improved patient outcomes, and increased operational efficiency. Astrana’s platform, which includes tools for value-based contracting, care management, and population health analytics, will be instrumental in empowering CHS providers to deliver high-quality care.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Once finalized, Astrana will provide an updated financial outlook for the combined company. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
