What You Should Know:

– Mediktor, a provider of AI-powered healthcare solutions, announced today the acquisition of Sensely, a San Francisco-based innovator in conversational AI for patient engagement.

– The strategic acquisition strengthens Mediktor’s global footprint, broadens its technology portfolio, and positions the combined entity as a major player in the AI-driven healthcare market.

Combining Expertise for Enhanced Patient Engagement

Mediktor’s established AI solutions, including its AI medical assistant, will be complemented by Sensely’s leading empathy-driven conversation platform. This powerful combination will offer a holistic suite of tools designed to improve patient engagement, streamline healthcare processes, and reduce costs.

A recent survey highlights the effectiveness of Sensely’s platform, with 54% of insurance customers using it reporting satisfaction with the provided medical guidance, eliminating the need for further consultations.

Expanding Global Reach

The acquisition bolsters Mediktor’s global footprint, extending its presence to over 35 countries and significantly increasing its reach in the US market. Both companies are pioneers in AI-driven healthcare solutions – Mediktor with its AI medical assistant and Sensely with its innovative conversational platform. This complementary technology stack will empower the combined entity to offer a comprehensive suite of solutions, optimizing healthcare delivery and reducing costs.

Sensely’s empathy-driven conversational platform is a major highlight of the acquisition. This platform leverages AI-powered chatbots and avatars to provide patients and insurance plan members with 24/7 access to healthcare resources and guidance. A recent survey highlights the platform’s effectiveness – 54% of patients using it reported satisfaction with the medical guidance received, eliminating the need for additional physician visits.

Strengthening the Ecosystem

As part of the deal, Mediktor will gain access to educational healthcare content developed by Mayo Clinic through a pre-existing agreement with Sensely. Furthermore, Mayo Clinic will become a shareholder in the newly integrated company, demonstrating their confidence in the future of this combined force.

Leadership and Integration

Mediktor has confirmed the integration of Sensely’s staff and management team. Sensely’s CEO, Mr. Odessky, will join the new organization as Chief Product Officer, bringing his expertise and leadership to the team.

“Mediktor and Sensely represent the perfect synergy between AI-based symptom assessment and empathy-driven virtual assistance that puts patients at the center,” said Adam Odessky, Sensely’s Co-Founder and CEO. “The combination of these two organizations provides customers with a strong, comprehensive suite of technology services that are proven to increase efficiency and reduce overhead costs for institutions while offering unparalleled personalized engagement services to patients and insurance members. We’re excited to share Mediktor’s vision for becoming a leading player in an evolving and competitive digital healthcare environment.”
