Sturdy Memorial Hospital (SMH), a full-service independent community hospital has signed a 7-year agreement to implement Cerner’s EHR platform at its 132-bed hospital in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Through this agreement, SMH will use Cerner CommunityWorks, a cloud-based deployment model, tailored to help community health care organizations securely manage patient health history, including clinical and financial data. The software deployed through this model is designed to support transparency between patients and their care team and bring true interoperability to the health system.
“We work hard to develop software that provides cutting-edge, reliable EHR solutions to our clients,” said Mitchell Clark, president, CommunityWorks, Cerner. “Our model is well-suited for a health system of this size and designed to address their unique needs. We look forward to working with Sturdy as they usher in new, more efficient workflows through this platform to help improve patient care.”
