Welltok Acquires Tea Leaves Health to Expand Growth in Hospital Market

Tea Leaves Health, a Welltok company and leading provider of a SaaS-based analytics and marketing technology platform, today announced the launch of its new high-growth platform, Decisionology. Decisionology is a new enterprise-level healthcare business development and market intelligence platform that empowers and informs hospital and health system executives’ strategic business decisions. Decisionology gathers all of a health organization’s critical data in one place to clearly identify trends, growth trajectories and untapped opportunities.

National health systems that piloted the beta version of the product have benefited from the solution’s ability to:

– Reveal business opportunities, ex. revenue generation potential of key services and patient cohorts

– Identify what key business factors drive growth trends

– Uncover new market and service line potential based on competitive claims analytics

Each of these providers attests to the importance of having a market intelligence platform that can gather all of a health organization’s critical data (including patient, marketing activities and more) in one place to clearly identify trends, growth trajectories and untapped opportunities to inform business plan adjustments.

“To compete in the current healthcare landscape, executives need to more proactively spot trends, anticipate shifts and make business plan adjustments,” said Miki Kapoor, president of Tea Leaves Health. “Decisionology is a powerful analytics tool that informs key strategic planning priorities, such as using patient trend analytics to identify and target both inactive and net new patients. The interactive platform empowers healthcare leaders to have a better understanding of their business and focus resources accordingly in just a few clicks.”
