Concept Plus Acquires Federal Health IT Management Services Firm Thao, Inc.

Concept Plus, LLC (Concept Plus), a professional services firm specializing in the comprehensive design, implementation, and maintenance of IT initiatives for the Federal Government has acquired health IT management firm Thao, Inc. (THAOINC). THAOINC provides health IT services and program management support exclusively to federal healthcare customers through its highly skilled staff. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. 

Founded in 2010 by Thao Sofo, THAOINC offers federal-specific expertise in EHR interoperability, identity management, and care delivery in organizations like the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). As part of the acquisition, Sofo will join Concept Plus as an Account Manager for the VA, reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Development, Mr. Chuck Campbell.

 Concept Plus is a SDB and an 8(a)-certified professional services firm, headquartered in Northern Virginia. Concept Plus provides solutions for the Federal Government in the areas of Oracle, Cloud Computing and Mobile technologies. The company’s core services are Enterprise Application Development, Mobile Services, Systems Integration, Cloud Computing, and Healthcare Interoperability.
