Trendshift, a SaaS-based Decision Analytics and Risk Assessment company has acquired the assets of  Columbus, OH-based Health Data Intelligence, LLC (“HDI”) for an undisclosed sum. The healthcare analytics and population health management company equips employers, benefit advisors, medical managers and payers with a cloud-based SaaS platform for more effective case management and concrete, risk-based intervention strategies and recommendations for clients.

The Population Intelligence™ platform employs proven predictive capabilities designed to forecast utilization and cost, perform member risk stratification, and identify care gaps. Retrospective and prospective claims analytics and risk assessment are core to TrendShift with its flagship application, the Agile Health Platform™. The acquisition of HDI will expand Trendshift’s SaaS-based capabilities in population health, risk modeling and predictive analytics designed to provide clients with real and tangible value.

“The combination of TrendShift and HDI creates a SaaS-based platform that provides clients with unprecedented levels of clarity, transparency and actionable insights – all of which drive better decision making, resource allocation and value-based care at the enterprise and individual level,” stated Joseph A. Boystak, Co-Chairman and CEO of TrendShift in a statement.
