Brain Performance Monitoring Startup RC21X Joins StartUp Health Community

RC21X

RC21X, a brain performance monitoring startup has been selected to join StartUp Health and its exclusive Academy for digital health entrepreneurs. StartUp Health’s global platform is focused on coaching and supporting the rapidly growing ecosystem of Finnish entrepreneurs.

RC21X is a web-based, brain monitoring tool that allows users to track their neurocognitive and neuromotor performance in about 12 minutes. RC21XTM examines major components of human brain functioning. Sessions consist of a set of 15 modules, most of which are based directly upon more than a 50-year history of human performance testing in psychology, neurology, bioengineering, kinesiology and related fields.

This unique approach to neurocognitive and neuromotor measurement and monitoring of brain performance capacities also uses the science of General Systems Performance Theory (GSPT) developed by Dr. George Kondraske, Director of the Human Performance Institute at the University of Texas at Arlington and one of the lead scientists working with RC21X.

By incorporating General Systems Performance Theory (GSPT), RC21X can provide new insights to brain performance—especially by combining multiple performance measures. GSPT is particularly sensitive to detecting changes in human performance over time.

The company is currently rolling out its brain performance monitoring services to NovaCare Physical Therapy and its nearly 2,000 facilities nationwide. Additionally, RC21X reached agreements with law firms Persky, Goldberg and White, Heard Robins Cloud and Zimmerman Reed for monitoring 500 former National Football League players as part of the league concussion settlement. It also signed a contract for monitoring the student body of Jacksonville State University.
