What You Should Know
- Rezilient Health announced that Lisa Ness, MBA, RD, CDE, has joined the executive leadership team as Chief Revenue Officer.
- Lisa Ness brings more than three decades of enterprise healthcare experience, having previously held senior commercial growth roles at QuadMed, CareATC, Proactive MD, Premise Health, and Pfizer.
- In her new capacity, Ness will direct Rezilient’s commercial growth strategy, expanding national distribution across self-funded employers, benefits broker networks, and regional health systems.
Arming a Disruptor with Incumbent Experience
Ness’s appointment represents a notable talent shift from legacy worksite clinic operators to next-generation hybrid care delivery platforms. Her executive track record spans senior leadership positions across several major players in the on-site and near-site employer healthcare sector:
- Executive Leadership Track Record: Ness previously served as Chief Growth Officer at QuadMed, Chief Revenue Officer at CareATC, and Chief Growth Officer at Proactive MD—three of the country’s prominent on-site and near-site employer clinic networks.
- Enterprise Business Development: Earlier in her career, she directed national business development efforts at Premise Health, the nation’s largest worksite health provider, alongside enterprise commercial roles at Pfizer.
- Clinical and Commercial Credentials: Holding an MBA alongside credentials as a Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Ness couples deep clinical familiarity with chronic disease management with thirty years of employer benefits contracting.
Dr. Danish Nagda, Founder and CEO of Rezilient Health, emphasized the strategic timing: “Lisa knows the employer healthcare industry inside and out, including where traditional approaches succeed and where they fall short. She brings the experience of an established industry leader and the ambition to build something fundamentally different. That’s exactly the combination we need as we enter our next stage of growth.”
The “CloudClinic” Model: Re-Engineering Employer Primary Care Economics
At the center of Ness’s commercial mandate is scaling Rezilient’s proprietary CloudClinic delivery infrastructure, which bridges the gap between pure digital telehealth and capital-heavy on-site clinics:
- Micro-Footprint Physical CloudClinics: Instead of requiring thousands of square feet and dedicated full-time medical doctors on-site, Rezilient deploys compact physical clinic footprints within employer facilities or multi-tenant commercial centers. The facilities are staffed by on-site nurses or clinical medical assistants equipped with connected diagnostic tools (including digital stethoscopes, high-resolution otoscopes, and remote ultrasound sensors).
- Remote Physician-Led Auscultation & Exams: While a nurse remains at the patient’s side to position sensors and collect vitals, off-site board-certified primary care physicians conduct synchronous, comprehensive physical exams over encrypted video and audio feeds, listening to heart and lung sounds in real time.
- Integrated Asynchronous Specialty Consults: Beyond routine urgent and primary care triage, the platform incorporates integrated asynchronous e-consultations spanning more than 70 clinical subspecialties. By securing specialist evaluations within days through digital case reviews, primary care teams can manage complex cardiometabolic, dermatologic, and orthopedic conditions locally, preventing premature referrals to high-cost hospital outpatient departments.
- Care Navigation & Utilization Controls: Rezilient embeds dedicated care navigators who steer employees toward high-quality, cost-effective in-network surgical and diagnostic imaging facilities, directly addressing the unmanaged specialist spend that accounts for up to 80% of an employer’s total healthcare trend.
Lisa Ness highlighted the operational thesis behind her move: “I’ve spent my career working to improve how healthcare is delivered, and I’ve seen both the progress we’ve made and the limitations of traditional models. What drew me to Rezilient is the opportunity to help build what’s next. The team has created a model that challenges how primary care is delivered and scaled, with the potential to make a meaningful impact on healthcare costs and the patient experience. That’s an opportunity I’m incredibly excited about.”
