Assort Health Secures $76M to Optmize Patient Access with Agentic AI

What You Should Know: 

– Assort Health, a comprehensive patient experience platform, has announced the close of a $76M in Series B funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from several investors including Felicis and First Round Capital. The funding brings the company’s total capital raised to $102M to date.

– The funds will be used to expand Assort Health’s team and accelerate the development of its comprehensive platform, Assort OS, which has already handled tens of millions of patient interactions across thousands of providers.


Solving the Universal Problem of Patient Access

Assort Health directly addresses the universal problem of difficult doctor scheduling, which leads to patient frustration, missed appointments, and incomplete care. U.S. adults currently devote the equivalent of an entire workday each month to navigating healthcare needs for themselves and their families.

Assort Health’s solution leverages agentic AI to revolutionize the way provider practices and hospitals engage with patients and remove barriers to care.

  • Seamless Experience: Assort’s AI agents get patients in front of doctors faster through a seamless and pleasant experience.
  • Measurable Results: Customers utilizing Assort’s technology have seen 89% shorter patient call wait times and fewer delays to care.
  • Workflow Integration: The system integrates itself into EHR and PM workflows using AI and natural language processing to resolve inquiries and free medical call center teams from routine calls.

The platform moves beyond scheduling to improve the patient experience across every touchpoint, including care navigation, lab tests, prescription renewals, and physician referrals.


Assort OS: The Infrastructure for Proactive Care

The launch of the comprehensive platform, Assort OS, will simplify care navigation and internal operations, up-leveling operations for customers and making it easier to get patients in the door. Assort’s solution is particularly valuable for providers facing reduced reimbursements, increasing costs, and persistent shortages of healthcare workers. Dr. Titus Abraham, physician at Annapolis Internal Medicine, noted that Assort’s AI agent easily manages inbound calls and patient outreach.
